Perhaps you like to do a shorter daytrip to one of the islands here in Sandvikssjön or maybe you had a longer two-week canoe tour from the mountain lakes in Norway to Lit outside Östersund in mind? What ever you are looking for we can help you. We arrange everything from maps and guides to transports and
accommodations.

You find us in Jämtland in the village Sandvikssjön. It is a one hours trip from Östersund . The canoecentral is located by the canoe waters and is a perfect place to start or end a canoetrip on. [Read more]

Routes!

Nature up here is not exploited at all. Pristine riverbanks invite you to excursions, and you can put up your tent practically anywhere – except on private property near a house.
You are in the wilderness, yet not too far away from villages, you will, before you start, learn to read the map, know where you are, and thus can plan for shopping and how to plan your days, where to stop for the night. You decide beforehand whether you want a leisurely trip with lots of fishing and the chance to stay an extra day at some baeutiful spot, or whether you want to see it all and really paddle the 150 kms in 7 days.
